The Wales Gene
Park brings together the considerable expertise in genetics in Wales,
facilitates knowledge transfer to the NHS and commercial sectors
and has very active programmes in professional education and public
involvement.

The
Wales Gene Park is funded through a grant to Cardiff University
from the Welsh Assembly Government. The Knowledge Exploitation
Fund has provided significant investment in technology platforms
to support the work of the Wales Gene Park.
In
addition to undertaking its core programmes the Wales Gene Park
can support genetics researchers in Wales and elsewhere through
access to its facilities for genomics and transgenics. Details
